German watch brand Glashutte Original (originally from Saxony more exactly), presents his model Panograph. A piece of 40 mm in diameter that houses a caliber manufacture manual winding with functions: a large date and chronograph flyback (column-wheel)! But not just any what chronograph...

Indeed, twelve years ago, Glashutte Original unveiled its PanoRetroGraph on the occasion of the Basel watch fair. Real incarnation of the art of watchmaking in Germany, she immediately conquers the critics and consumers by the startling asymmetry of his dials and its unique 'retro' Chronograph mechanism and its 30-minute totalizer.

Produced in limited edition 50 pieces, the Platinum version is passed in no time. This model also, subsequently, inaugurated the entire collection Pano, composed of mechanical watches made by hand, which his immediate successor, the PanoGraph, presented for the first time in Basel in 2002.

Today, the Saxon Manufactory presents a whole new PanoGraph. It adorns itself with a broader and more contemporary case (40 mm diameter), a dial panoramic and adopts the asymmetry to the Pano in a decidedly modern way collection! Privileged by its wider housing, this new design displays the nested dials the hour/minute and small seconds on the left, while the big date ('trademark' Glashutte original) finds its usual place at 4 o'clock.

The 30-minute chronograph counter reminds the original in a more contemporary way design, with an elegant series of three scales of 10 minutes using three different needles. Two pushers for Chronograph, startstop and Fly-back, appear black to 4 to 2 hours. The first indicating the standard operations of timing and the second reset mechanism.

The PanoGraph adorns itself with a red gold case, indexes and hands hours and a stop-second hand on the main dial rose gold, as well as a needle small seconds also in gold rose. As all Pano dials, the latter has been developed in accordance with the "divine proportion", the fascinating Golden inspiring since antiquity many artists, musicians and extraordinary architects (including Leonardo da Vinci).

The engine of this timepiece beats to the rhythm of the 61-03 Calibre, designed and manufactured the manufactory Glashutte Original hand. The chronograph with column wheel is equipped with a manual winding and a classic wheel that governs many the chronograph functions, such as walking, stop, reset and a mechanism for return to flight (flyback) to reset the chronograph to zero without having to stop it before. All chronograph functions are available on the right side of the housing.

The Sapphire of the caseback reveals components and specific movements Glashutte Original, as the traditional Platinum three-quarters with sides Glashutte, kittens gold screw, the screw press and fine-tuning gooseneck. The PanoGraph is mounted on a wrist strap in black alligator or brown alligator with nubuck finish.
